From our Fort Wayne Nostalgia Collection!  From 1896 to 1969 Wolf & Dessauer Department Store was the crown jewel of Downtown Fort Wayne.  People have always said, it was not just a store, it was an experience!  From the Tea Room and Parisian Sidewalk Cafe to the extravagant Christmas window displays that rivaled any big city’s, W&D was truly iconic.  Not to mention, its facade was the first home to our beloved Santa and Reindeer!  W&D, gone but never forgotten.
